GDF Skill and Entrepreneurship Empowerment Project (SEEP)
GDF Skill and Entrepreneurship Empowerment Project (SEEP), provides employability, vocational and business skills that empowers disadvantaged persons in the community
to become productive members of the nation. It also provides mentorship, support and micro-grant for widows and orphans to start-up small scale enterprises. The goal of the
project is to empower the poor and vulnerable in the society to become self-reliant and productive members of the society. This will discourage them from engaging in social
vices and empower them to take care of their wards and live decent lives.
Skill Up Project (SUP)
This program provides employ-ability and vocational skills to unemployed youths, widows and other marginalized groups to enable them get employed and or set-up small scale businesses of their choice.
GDF Micro-Business Grant
GDF Micro-Business Grant is specifically set -up for parents of indigent
students under the GDF Scholarship program and disadvantaged widows
in the community. The program provides business training, grants and
mentorship needed to set-up and run a sustainable business.
Business Innovators Challenge (BIC)
The Business Innovators Challenge is a competition open to people who
have start-up or scalable business ideas but lacks the wherewithal to fund
them. Selected participants will be provided mentorship and funding
support but must commit partnering or absorbing some of our
beneficiaries into their workforce.
Widows Empowerment project (WEP)
The Widows Empowerment Project is aimed at alleviating the sufferings of
widows in the community. This project provides widows with food items,
free medical services and scholarships to those whose children meets the
requirements of the GDF Scholarship Scheme.
